Dr. Sunanda Muralee, MD, is a distinguished psychiatrist providing both in-person and telehealth services at TP Health Clinic. With extensive training in adult and child and adolescent psychiatry, Dr. Muralee is dedicated to delivering comprehensive and compassionate mental health care to individuals and families.
Dr. Muralee earned her medical degree from the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine and completed her residency in Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine. She further specialized with a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Yale, equipping her with the knowledge and experience to address a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions.
In her current role as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine and staff psychiatrist at The Menninger Clinic’s Adolescent Treatment Program, Dr. Muralee oversees a multidisciplinary team, leading comprehensive evaluations, diagnostic conferences, and treatment planning. Her prior positions have included Unit Chief of Child and Adolescent Services, where she successfully managed inpatient settings and collaborated with multiple healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Dr. Muralee is board certified in both Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and is a member of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Her dedication to academic excellence in medical education has earned her recognition, including the APA’s Nancy C.A. Roeske Certificate of Excellence in Medical School Education.
