Maria Griffin

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working in individual and group psychotherapy sessions, state government programs, addressing end-of-life care, grief recovery, and a host of other acute outpatient concerns.

Through many years of educational and hands-on experience, I have obtained the necessary skills needed to deliver effective supervision to others and care for those in need. I easily build rapport and establish working relationships with diverse cultures through demonstrating trust, unconditional positive regard, and showing respect towards each individual’s treatment process.

I also have experience in providing therapeutic interventions, counseling, and family interventions to those at risk by involving them with others in a structured setting on a daily basis. Clients are assessed individually and encouraged to make and obtain goals.

I am here to assist you in creating goals that will help you reach your idea of self-actualization. Utilizing a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Self Motivational Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy, my goal is to help you get the results that create a “better you”.
